Marcus Krembs is Corporate HSE Specialist, Climate Change and Corporate Responsibility; Newfield Exploration Co., an independent oil and gas company engaged in the exploration, development and acquisition of natural gas and crude oil. As Newfield's first dedicated corporate responsibility and climate change specialist, he leads an internal steering committee responsible for addressing non-financial reporting, greenhouse gas and water management, sustainability metrics and communications, and environmental management information systems.

 

He co-founded and currently serves on the leadership team of the American Exploration and Production Council (AXPC) Sustainability Subcommittee and is member of the Colorado Sustainability Leaders Council. He also sits on the University of Colorado Denver Business School Managing for Sustainability Advisory Council.

 

Prior to joining Newfield, he worked for award-winning management consulting and alternative energy marketing and development firms providing advisory services, environmental commodity origination and asset management to support Fortune 500 companies.
