Tim Mohin, Director, Corporate Responsibility; Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)

 

Tim Mohin

Tim Mohin joined Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in December 2009 as the Director of Corporate Responsibility. In this role, he is responsible for the development of the company's corporate responsibility strategy, overseeing program execution, and heading the company's cross-functional corporate responsibility advisory council.

 

Mr. Mohin is the author of "Changing Business from the Inside Out: A Treehugger's Guide to Working in Corporations," a practical manual on the knowledge and skills essential for a career in corporate responsibility.

 

Prior to joining AMD, he led Apple's Supplier Responsibility program; spent 12 years in multiple sustainability management positions with Intel Corp., and worked for ten years in the Federal government with both the U.S. Senate and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

 

Mr. Mohin serves on the board of directors of Net Impact and the Green Grid. He earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from the State University of New York and a Masters degree in Environmental Management from Duke University.
