Jason Haritos is the Manager of Environment, Safety and Health for John Deere Turf Care, where he is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the John Deere environmental management system and safety and health management system. He also serves as the Safety Team Leader for the John Deere Turf and Utility Platform, providing leadership, standardization, and best practice-sharing among the manufacturing and engineering facilities.

Mr. Haritos joined John Deere Turf Care (JDTC) in 2001 as Safety and Training Administrator. Over the years, he has gained responsibility of JDTC's ergonomics process, environmental management system, business continuity planning, and health and wellness. In 2008, Jason facilitated the recognition of JDTC's Safety & Health Management System by the North Carolina Department of Labor's division of Occupational Safety and Health through their Voluntary Protection Program (VPP). In 2011, JDTC achieved full Stewardship through the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources' Environmental Stewardship Initiative.

Prior to joining John Deere, Mr. Haritos served as a Senior Safety and Health Compliance Officer with the North Carolina Department of Labor's division of Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA).

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from North Carolina State University, a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health from East Carolina University and is a Certified Safety Professional.
