Allison Gregg, Manager of Sustainable Products; Sprint Nextel

 

Allison Gregg

Allison Gregg is responsible for sustainable product design at Sprint Nextel, a leader in environmentally responsible practices and products. She manages strategic and tactical initiatives related to environmental and human rights for Sprint's product portfolio.

 

By learning from all facets of the product lifecycle, Ms. Gregg is able to identify and implement approaches for the continuing growth of responsible products. She works with manufacturers to strengthen the sustainability of each product and has established stringent environmental specifications and internal scorecards. Most recently, she launched an unprecedented program for all Sprint handsets to be certified for sustainability through the independent Underwriters' Laboratory Environment. In addition, Allison is responsible for the development of the nation's first eco-friendly phone in 2009 and the creation of mobile content/application launch-pads to help mobile users find tools to help them make environmentally-sound choices.

 

She has 15 years of diverse experience at Sprint across technology, marketing, product, and corporate strategy.
